Hey there, It feels kind of weird to reply to a 3-year-old comment, but I just wanna express how much this artwork has inspired me. I made that comment on the same day I joined deviantART (Jan 28, 2011). Back then, I only used dA to browse other's artworks and comment. I never uploaded artworks of my own. The only videogame series I followed back then was Jazz Jackrabbit, so when I first saw this fan art of yours, it inspired me a LOT. It was one of the first few good fan art of Jazz Jackrabbit I saw on this website. I wanted to draw just as well as you and many artists did.
A year later, I received a drawing tablet and started to learn digital art on my own. Since then, I've gotten into several more videogames and videogame series such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Spyro the Dragon, Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper, Jak & Daxter, Castle Crashers, Assassin's Creed, and so on. And now, I'm in my first year studying Graphic Design in college. Along my artistic journey I've met like-minded people, especially on the internet. You could say that had I not discovered Jazz Jackrabbit and this website, I'd still be "that nerd in the corner of class who studies too much and has no life".
I may have been an ordinary 14 year-old teenager when I first came on this website, but thanks to fan art like this one, I'm now heading into the art industry to pursue my dreams. Once again, thank you.
Don't insult your background skills! What truly puts Jazz in value here is the background. Anyway, I love his determined expression and especially the way you drew his weapon - I never seem to get it right.
